Gilfilan, Gretna's savour, saves
a point with less than 1 minute left
From
kick off the gretna goal was being battered with shot,
but some poor shooting and some brave defending ensured
Gretna got the draw
Gretna lead after only four minutes when a Ryan McGuffie
header from a corner kick was saved at the second attempt
by man of the match keeper Paul Mathers.
Gretna started playing well and Lennon fired a shot at
Mathers only to see it blocked.
Peterhead took the lead two minutes before half-time.
Jamie Buchan played and Martin Bavidge combining and fired
a stunning shot into the top corner
As in the first half, Gretna dominated in the second half
and Andy Smith saw an early chance saved by Mathers.
Two minutes from the end Smith Headed over the bar from
just 2 yards and it looked the end for Gretna.But in the
final minute Brian Gilfillan, Smiths substitute, stuck
his foot out to clench the pint Gretna deserved
